Rafe Lieber was born in Flushing, Queens in 1975 and grew up in Great Neck where he graduated Great Neck South high school in 1993. He received a BA in History from SUNY Albany and began his career in politics working for a United States Congressman. After working in government for 12 years, Rafe switched professions and began in the title insurance industry where he has been for the past dozen years. In February 2022, he opened his own company, Marathon Abstract, and has been on his own ever since.

Rafe has been a leader in the Title Insurance industry through his commitment to the highest level of service to his clients as well as creating networking and business development opportunities for his clients, colleagues and centers of influence.

Rafe has two boys, Joseph 18 and Luke 11, two dogs Cookie and Zoey and two cats Moses and Coconut.
